Self leveling polishable toppings are usually poured in thicknesses from 3/8″ to 1″ and can help dramatically with floor leveling. They are usually used when a durable, low maintenance, nearly perfect finish is required but the existing slab is ugly, patched together and highly flawed. Because of the high viscosity of the mix it can level out uneven floors locally but not globally. The amount, size, color and placement of aggregate can be controlled to meet the client’s specification.
